Its a beautiful mornin'...
Hey hey hey!!! Well its Monday morning! I didn't write in here yesterday cause, well, I just didn't! :0 hehe. Its a really beautiful day today, and I'm in a very good mood!!! :D But anyway, I'm just waiting for Seth to come over. Yep, he's back! *finally* He came home yesterday, and I got to talk to him on the phone, but today will be the first day I've seen him since last saturday. (Hmm I just had a complete brain lapse and it took me 5 minutes to remember how to spell "Saturday")...Anyway I was inspired by my friend Alicia's journal to make one of those lists thats like 101 facts about me. Yea that was really hard. I only got to 43... but I thought I'd share my list with you anyway, and warning its probably as boring as the rest of this journal is!
************************************************
1. I was born April 4, 1986
2. I was born, and still live in Parkersburg, WV
3. My mom picked out my name from two girls in her speech class named Melissa and Danielle.
4. I am my parents firstborn.
5. I was also my grandparents first grandbaby, and my aunt and uncles' first neice
6. I was baptized on May 4, 1986 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, where I still go.
7. One of my closest friends, Amanda Waugaman, was baptized the same day, in a different state. -We were also born exactly a week apart
8. My mom used to be a speech teacher, now she is a preschool teacher. My dad works at GE with computers.
9. I was talking in full sentances by the time I was 18 months old.
10. I didn't walk until a couple weeks after my first birthday.
11. When I was little, my biggest fears were lightning and the bathtub drain
12. I absolutely LOVED to sing when I was little (and still do).
13. When I was 2 years and 9 months old- my brother Matthew was born
14. I went to preschool at my church for 2 years
15. When I was 3 1/2 my grandma (dad's mom) died after a long illness; I never really knew her.
16. My best friend in preschool, Amanda Hollingshead, and her entire family was killed in a car accident when I was 4. I remember it really vividly.
17. I could read a little bit before I was even in Kindergarten.
18. I'm left-handed.
19. I went to elementary school at Lubeck.
20. I was always the smallest kid in my grade.
21. In 1st grade, my teacher nicknamed me short-stuff
22. When I was 7, my parents decided to have another baby
23. I prayed every night for a little sister, but my brother Mason was born that August.
24. My best friend at the time, Sara, moved away in second grade... it was really hard on me.
25. I had the same best friend, Kayla, from second grade until junior high.
26. I was extremely shy, until round about 4th grade.
27. I started taking clogging lessons in March of 1996
28. My grandpa (dad's dad) died suddenly of a heart attack July of '96. It was really hard on my whole family.
29. I met Nicole Keller, in October of 96, when she started taking clogging lessons too. We became friends pretty quickly, and are still friends today.
30. Later on, through clogging, I met Marybeth Cook, and we became really good friends as well
31. I went to Junior high at Blennerhassett.
32. 7th grade was my worst year ever- I lost my best friend, Kayla, and just had the tramatic experience of getting adjusted from elementary to junior high
33. In June of 1999, I became a member of Class Act Clogging Team
34. I met Seth Cunningham, and Abby Goosman.
35. 8th grade was much better, I met Whitney Gill that year.
36. In both 8th and 9th grade I had a crush on the same guy. Who knows why I "liked" him so much; it was really stupid.
37. I went to High school (and still do) at Parkersburg South High School.
38. Marybeth basically quit clogging; and it was hard on me, because it was always, Abby and Nicole, then Melissa and Marybeth...
39. Good came out of that situation, though, because I started to get to know Seth much better, and we became really close friends, and later more than friends.
40. There isn't enough room here to say all about what Seth means to me but I can definitely say that I really love him a lot! ;)
41. The farthest from home I have ever been is Florida.
42. I'm probably the world's biggest klutz-- suprisingly though I've lived having only a broken finger and tailbone, and once 6 stiches in my foot.
43. I really like country music and have been around it my whole life, my dad has for as long as I can remember always had a country music band.
