Independance day

Morning everyone! And Happy 4th! I do have some plans for the holiday this evening. We're going to the City Park to watch the fireworks. Seth is coming with us, or if his family decides to go, then I think we're meeting them down there...I'm not sure yet.

Since my dad and Matthew are still at summer camp we aren't having any cookouts or anything this weekend. We are having one next weekend I think. Just mostly my weird loud family. Have you ever seen "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"? Well thats kind of my family, only smaller... they don't go "oop-ahh!" or anything like that but they are quite loud. And most every get together involves large amounts of food. ;)

I didn't get to sleep until late last night. I went to bed at like 11. And I read until 11:30... then I turned out my light, but I was up until almost 12:30 thinking about stupid things. Does anyone else ever do that? You're lying in bed and all of a sudden these weird thoughts pop into your head and you end up spending an hour pondering them?... Like last night I was thinking, When someone says they love you, and you respond with "I love you too", (if you do that is ;)) But I was just wondering, why do we always say "too" at the end. The meaning of "too" is "as well" right? I mean it would make more sense to use that reply if someone said "I love me", then you responded with "I love you too". The same would work with something like if you were both hungry... Hmmm... It is kind of puzzling isn't it? Ahh the mysteries of the English language... I really need a life I know.
