slickery day...

Grr...I snow. Its all slick and stuff out now. And I thought I wasn't ever going to make it home from school. I drive a rear-wheel drive thunderbird. Yea its basically as good as a sled when the weather gets like this. I came home from school it took me forever b/c I couldn't go faster than like 35mph because it was SLICK! Like I slid a few times like my back end waivered while stopping. I was just happy to get Jen, Nicole, and myself home in one piece. I don't mind driving in the snow, if I'm driving the 4-wheel-drive suburban. But yea and I'm kind of ultra paranoid because it was under these exact conditions that I was riding with Amanda, and we like spun out. Let me tell you something, donuts are NOT fun when its not intentional and you are sliding into oncoming traffic. God was looking out for us that day, because we missed the truck in the other lane and were fine. But yea I was scared coming home because not only did I have myself in the car, but I had two other people and I was paranoid and shaky and stuff. BUT I made it home and even up my hill. Surprisingly my road isn't as bad as even the main roads. I doubt if school will be cancelled...maybe a 2-hour-delay. Whatever the case I just want it to be clear by Saturday. My dad and brothers will be in Elkins for a boy scout camping trip, and my mom will be in Charleston until later Sat. evening. But I'll have plenty to do. From 1 till around 2 I'm going to Whitney's birthday party. Then I'm going over to Seth's house till probably 6ish, then we're going to a clogging show, then Nicole is coming home w/me to spend the night. That is if the weather is good...which I'm really hoping it is. I'm going to be very disappointed if I can't go. :( So while the rest of school-age kids around town are praying for more snow, I'm just praying for it to stop!

*snow snow go away...and stay away!!!!!!*

Ok I'm leaving now...TTFN!
