less than 24 hours of freedom left...
Well tomorrow is the "big day". I start college. Maybe its not a big deal to me because I'm not actually leaving town or home or anything yet. But I'm not excited, or really that nervous. The only thing I'm really worried about is being too overwhelmed. I have 18 hours this semester, plus I'll be working Monday through Friday from like 2:30 to 6, and clogging and stuff of course. I've never worked during schoool before so hopefully it won't affect my grades or anything. This summer just went way to fast... I could use another month of summer, especially spending some more time with Seth. I didn't get enough of that in there. ;)Anyway, yesterday was really great. We went to the homecoming to clog in the talent show. We were in the senior category. (36 and up... not exactly "senior", but they go by the oldest in the group, and Teresa just turned 36 so we were giving her a hard time about putting us in the "geizer" category. ;)) Anyway I thought we did really really well. We placed 2nd. The rest of the category was all singers. I wish they'd separate dancers and singers cause well you're judging on entirely different criteria. But we got $50 out of it. Afterwards I went back to Seth's house. His older sister Aliel is in, along with lots of her college friends. His older brother Ryan and his friend Huong are in too. It was fun, despite almost getting killed while Seth was setting off fireworks (UPSIDE DOWN!!! ;)) Hehe no it was fun. Then Seth and I went with my mom and brothers to go see the Homecoming fireworks, then to Dairy Queen afterwards. It was nice getting to spend the day with Seth. :)
Today has been alright, nothing incredibly exciting. We went to church, then the youth group went to El Ranchero. (My parents and brothers also went). Later this afternoon Nicole and I went to Wal Mart to get some stuff for school.
Well this has been boring enough... I'm gonna go! Seth will probably be calling before too long. TTFN!
