Its Pear-fect! (whoa ok that was really bad...)

Well I have a new template... I haven't decided how much I like it or not. I really liked the image and thought it was cute... it all may be too green for me but we'll see...I wanted a change anyway.

This morning I woke up with a headache. I think it was a sinus headache because I forgot to take my allergy medicine last night. But anyway I decided to sleep another 2 hours and not go to my 8:00 class... of course its a darn good thing I did, because after I got here I remembered that she had cancelled it today. So yea that was good. :)

Tonight I have my night class. I am completely finished with my power point presentation. Hopefully all I'll have to do is burn my CD, sign up for a day to present and then leave and go back to clogging. :)

Well this weekend will be fun. Seth, Nicole, me, and possibly Matthew (my brother) are going down to Huntington for a Marshall game and to see Amanda! She's not gonna get to come in again till Thanksgiving so I'm looking forward to seeing her. I'll get to spend the day with my favorite people! Seth, Nicole and Manda! :D Yay!

Well... as election day is approaching I suppose that I will stoop to the level of politics and give you my opinion as far as the presidential election goes. I am going to vote for President Bush. I've decided this based on a lot of things... but first I do want to say that I by no means believe that he is the best president in our history. But I believe he could do a much better job than Kerry. There's basically three "sticking points" for me...

1. Iraq- Obviously its a big thing. But I really think that Bush made the best decision he could, based on the information that he had. I think it was the best decision to take Sadaam out, whether he had WMD's or not, he could've gotten them very easily, and he condones and promotes terrorism. For those who think that we shouldn't of gone into Iraq in the first place... is it better to wait until they land in New York again? Washinton D.C? Chicago? LA? Yea we couldn't have just sit back and let it go. Besides, they were wrong about the WMD's, but Bush had nothing to go on except the intelligence that he had, which he trusted. It wasn't his fault that it wasn't necceserily true. Also, its not JUST Bush who decided to go to war. Congress also made the decision.

2. Abortion- I am very pro-life and I support Bush's decision to ban partial-birth abortion and to NOT use MY tax dollars to pay for someone else to kill their unborn baby. Kerry and a lot of people have said that you "can't legislate morals"... well thats interesting because WE DO! Um what happened to the laws "Don't steal" and "Don't murder"... are those not morals as well? And if abortion is considered murder, (which it is), then we have the OBLIGATION to protect the victims.

3. Economy- This is one part that I will say I don't know a whole lot about and what will work. I do agree with Bush's tax cuts and I think those would really help the economy. I disagree with Kerry and his wanting to raise minimum wage. Even though that may seem like a good idea (especially for me, I get paid minimum wage) But really it's not, because small businesses who can't afford to pay their employees will be forced to lay off their workers and possibly even shut down their business. So I don't think that would work at all.

As for anyone who knows me they know that I'm not really that involved in politics and things. I'm registered republican but I don't vote based on party, I vote based on the issues. So yea I'm not really wanting to start debates with anyone or change anyones mind necceserily I'm just saying what I think. (I say that to keep the amount of notes/emails I get down :p)

ANYWAY~~~ Haha I read this in my friend Kati's journal today:

I love no school. Why was I not born 100 years ago when women weren't allowed to go to school. Screw this "equal rights" crap.

Haha sometimes I definitley agree with that!

Ok well I have to go I have choir practice in ten minutes. TTFN!
