Gobble, Gobble!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Well today has been a pretty good day overall. I went with Seth this afternoon to his family thing. The Cunninghams always have a huge Thanksgiving get-together. This year it was at the Washington Community Building. I had fun though. :) I really do like his family a lot. After dinner, we danced there too! Haha, it was me, Seth, Aliel and Ryan (Seth's sister and brother), Jim (his grandpa), and Abby! Yea there's a pretty cool connection there... Abby is dating Aaron, who is Seth's second cousin. And she's been friends with me and Seth for a long time through clogging so yea she was the "non-Cunningham clogger" with me! :)

After we ate, Seth and some of his family went to play football outside. I was a spectator for a while but then I went back in because it was FREEZING, and talked to Abby for a while until they were done. Then Seth took me home and stayed for just a few minutes then he had to go home. :( Yea I really wanted him to be able to stay for dinner with my family but NO he wasn't allowed. It's so dumb too. His mom didn't even come to the thing this afternoon cause she didn't feel like it or whatever...but that's fine yet he can't come over to my house to be with my family for a couple hours??? I know his brother and sister are in and everything but he just spend the whole afternoon w/them (unlike her) and he's not allowed to come over for a couple hours. I guess it just bothers me because it sends the message that their family is more important than mine. She was like "Oh you don't need to go over there, she doesn't have very many people and they're not coming from far away". Yea ok so I don't have a big family but does that make it any less important??? No. *Sigh* He wasn't allowed last year either. Sometimes...ok...most of the time, It just really seems like NOTHING has changed since we first started dating. She supposedly likes me, or so she and Seth say, but she doesn't show it very much...and she still doesn't want me to be with him, which is worse than her just not liking me that well... :S Oh well... Seth promised me he'd come next year. :) He'll be 20 years old by then and out of the house so hopefully there won't be an issue.

ANYWAY, enough complaining... we just finished up dinner with my family here at my house. (Normally this is our year to go up to Columbus, but we decided not to make the trip this time, but to get together with Darin & Martha later) It was just the 5 of us and my dad's brother Darren. It was good though, my mom makes a REALLY good Thanksgiving dinner. ;)

Well everything aside, I want to say that there is a LOT I'm thankful for, aside from the obvious stuff like my health, a house, food, etc...

~I am really thankful for Seth more than anything. He's such a blessing in my life, he's the best friend and boyfriend anyone could ever ask for and I'm SOOO thankful I have him by my side through everything, and that I WILL have him by my side forever!!! I LOVE YOU SETH!!!! <3

~I'm also thankful for all my other friends. Amanda, Nicole, Abby, Whitney, the rest of the youth at church, and the rest of the cloggers. I couldn't ask for better friends! :)
~I'm thankful for my family (no matter how annoying or crazy they get sometimes) and especially my parents. I don't think I realized just how lucky I am to have such a good relationship with my parents until I see how not having a good relationship with even one parent isn't very fun for Seth. :( But yea I'm really thankful for my family...even the crazy and weird ones ...hey at least they give the rest of us "normal" ones something to laugh at! ;)

I have off work tomorrow! YAY! But that means I'll be working on my project for Music Appreciation...which I've done about nothing on. Well I did do SOMETHING just I have a whole lot left to do. Saturday I'm hoping to do something with Seth. Amanda's in this week! :D And her new boyfriend Will is coming in later so I hope to meet him this weekend too! (I have to give her my approval. ;))

Ok well I'm off to go lounge around the rest of the evening... two thanksgiving dinners later I'm STUFFED!!! TTFN!!!
