Wild things... that make my head ring!

Wow what a day...

Finals are next week, and the semester is ending so that in itself is enough stress for anyone. I'm trying to get all this paperwork and my portfolio done for my Education class. I am paranoid to DEATH that I'm going to forget something and end up not passing or something. I just hope I can remember it all...

I locked my keys in the car. Yep. That's me the smart one! It was in the suburban actually. I locked them in there at Whitney's house when I took her home between class and chorale (which I ended up missing because I had to wait for my mom to be able to leave work for a few minutes to come unlock it for me.) She traded me cars though.

Yep, I got my car back! $850ish dollars later! It had a blown head gasket so that and the labor alone cost a LOT to start with, plus there had to be new antifreeze in it, oil and oil filter changed, spark plugs replaced, and some other stuff because antifreeze leaked into EVERYTHING. But it's better now and it's running great. So I'm happy about that, except that my parents had to pay all that money to get it fixed!!!

The kids at work today were WILD. And I mean WILD. It must be the Christmas season in combination with Mrs. Dillenger (the director;my boss) being out sick all week. But they were just loud and rowdy. Even when I made them all sit down at the table to do an activity together, then watch a movie it seemed like we were constantly getting on to somebody and they were just overall LOUD.

Not to mention, I didn't get to sleep till late last night (I honestly can't even remember why...) and I had silly dreams so it wasn't the best sleep ever, and I got up at 6:30 so I've been tired all day, and therefore KLUTZY all day. I've dropped everything that I've picked up. *except kids! ;)* I've ran into things, tripped over things. I flat out fell over the gate at work.

After my adventures at school and work I went through BK and got something to eat and went to clogging for a couple minutes. Then I took my final for my night class (The computer one). It was pretty easy. I then went back to clogging for a bit and dropped some stuff off to Teresa and stayed and danced, and hoped that Seth would stop by but he didn't. So then I left and stopped at Nicole's Grandma's so she could fill out my "Service Learning Form" for me. (She's the head of Sheltered Workshop.) And now I'm finally home...

I should probably be working on my portfolio, but I may just put that off till Sunday and turn it in Monday. I am pretty drained from today. I really hoped I'd get to see Seth, but I guess his play practice ran late or something, because he hasn't called yet.

Well... I'm gonna go get a shower, and talk to Seth whenever he calls. That'll make my day better! :)

Yay for Christmas Break... only 6 more school days left...

TTFN!

~Melissa
