The Kum-Pow Buffaroo Campay...

Well today was Monday... President's Day... Wood County had no school, but I had class- and work. :p

It wasn't too bad though, school was the usual, afterwards I went to work, which was a pretty easy day. There were hardly any kids there because most of our kids' parents have government jobs (Public Debt, etc.) and so they were off.

After work, I went home and ate supper, then went back out to clogging. Teresa, Seth, and I are working on choreographing a couple dance to a Ricky Scaggs song. We got a lot done, all but one section. I like it so far. :) And of course it was nice seeing Seth.

Speaking of Seth... things aren't going well with his mom. He had a fight with her the other day about us and going on dates alone. (News flash-we aren't 13...) And then today she lectured him about calling me on Sunday. Her argument is Sunday isn't for "things like that", that its for "more than church". Riiight, well last time I checked the bible, Sunday was a day to be set aside for rest, worship, and fellowship with other Christians, and I don't think that calling your friend to talk to her is conflicting with that at all, if anything, it goes along with it, because I am a Christian as well. Grrr, it's just so irritating, especially since I know how much it upsets Seth and how hard it is on him.

It's discouraging to go back and read my entries from a year ago about his mom and stuff and how basically nothing has changed. :( *Sigh* I'm not asking to be her best friend, or even her to absolutely love me, I just want her to be happy for Seth, because he's happy. I want her to want him to be with me. I know the um how can I put it... the fecal matter is going to come into contact with the rotating blades... when he asks her blessing to ask me to marry him. I know it'll all work out but sometimes it seems like that there's no light at the end of the tunnel... I'm just sooo glad I have Seth! It doesn't matter if she dispises me, or never changes the way she acts, it's not going to matter. I love him more than anything, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! For better or for worse! ;)<3

I may have a babysitting job on Friday after work! :) For Brian & Becky's kids (they're family friends)... actually Becky's oldest ones are gonna be with their dad, but Lindsey (who is technically Brian and Becky's daughter together) who's 6, and this little boy they've been taking care of because his mom is terminally ill, who's 2. :D I've never met the little boy but I'm looking forward to it. I love Lindsey, she's a really sweet little . ;) And of course I wouldn't be complaining about the little extra cash!

Ok well this entry is boring enough, so I think I'll go get something to eat and head to bed, since I have my 8:00 class in the morning (Yuck :p)

TTFN!

~Melissa
