gone like a freight train...

Today was a good day.

I worked from 7am-4pm... I actually like that shift. I do have to get up earlier, but it's nice to get to leave early, not to mention mornings tend to be calmer than our afternoons anyway. But yea after work I came home for a little while, then left around 5 to get Seth, picked him up, then went to church and ate dinner, went to bell practice, and the lent service. His mom even showed up for the service which was nice (and surprising--it'll be interesting to see what she says about it, she's a die-hard pentecostal...which thankfully, Seth is not! ;)) But I do have to say it was nice of her to come, I have a feeling she probably did it to be nice, and I guess it was. ;)

ANYWAY... getting to see Seth tonight was great as always, even if I didn't get much time in to talk to him. I'll see him tomorrow though, we're clogging at the nursing home. I don't know if/what we're doing this weekend. It all depends on whether he goes to Virginia or not. He's weighing now whether to go to Virginia with his grandma and sisters to see his cousins, or to stay in town and go to Abby's baptism with us on Sunday. So I'm not sure what he's going to do yet. If he stays here we might do something after church on sunday.

Well I'm working the same hours tomorrow (7-4). I think I'm eating w/my mom during my break. I won't get to eat lunch with Jennifer and Nicole as our usual Thursday tradition, because I'll have my break at noon, and their lunch is from 11:12-12:04. On Friday I'm either going to be working the same, or 9-6 again. It depends on whether or not my boss is feeling better (she's been sick)... if she is I'll have to come in 9-6. But we'll see.

Well this has been sufficiently boring so I think I'll go upstairs and get a shower and get ready for bed!

*~*Thanks for coming tonight Seth!!! I LOVE YOU! <3

TTFN all!

~Melissa
